Anna Mitsopoulou
Deep Learning, NLP, Text-to-SQL
I am working as a research associate at Athena Research and Innovation Center, under the supervision of Dr. Georgia Koutrika.
At the end of 2024, I began my Ph.D. at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, under the supervision of Dr. Georgia Koutrika and Dr. Ioannis Ioannidis.
My research focuses on leveraging Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning techniques to facilitate access to data stored in databases for users without technical knowledge.
I hold an MSc in Data Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. My MSc thesis is titled "Toward more robust text-to-SQL translation". Prior to that, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Informatics and telecommunications from the same university, where I completed my thesis titled "Development of a semi-automatic text annotation tool through controlled vocabulary".
